Adult "invisible braces" (which are not really braces at all, but clear plastic aligners) are a new technique for adults to obtain the results of braces without wearing metal wires or brackets! This technique utilizes a series of computer generated clear, removable, custom made aligners. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. You can wear them and still speak clearly. As you sequentially replace each set of aligners, the teeth move little by little until they reach the desired position. You visit us about every six weeks to check the progress and the average number of aligners is between 18 and 30 and will vary from case to case.
